This spring the Rhodendendrons at Callaway Gardens, Pine Mountain, Georgia were wonderful. Finding one growing close to one of the many ponds was exactly the inspiration I needed. I completed this painting one the spot and enjoyed looking at it myself until it was sold a couple of months later.
